With a thin brush, apply top coat around the design to create borders. Cure it. If it's a 3D stone (with a foil oval), then with top coat, base coat, or builder gel (whichever is thicker) create a voluminous drop on the foil part, and cure it a bit longer than usual.Cover with a finishing layer of top coat thinly over the entire nail and cure again, if the top coat has a tacky layer, remove it with a cleanser.
